Dear Friends and Family,

THIS is how I remember Xi’an—hot and very sunny.  The front that brought cooler weather moved out so we are back to “normal.”  However, we are very thankful for our cool rooms at night—it really allows you to relax and cool off.

In sports today, Bob and Dale chose to do water balloons—very appropriate!  I saw an American and thought she was all sweaty but actually had been hit with a water balloon. ...read more »

Dear Friends and Family,

We had a great evening last night with class activities or parties.  It is exciting to see relationships being built and questions starting to come! 

Chris arrived last night and we are expecting Woody, Tracey, and Bailey tonight—looking forward to their being here. 

The Chinese student, Walt, who graduated from TCS also arrived last night.  This situation must be very strange for him to see his TCS teacher and friends here in China teaching English! ...read more »
