The Sun's Back Out in Xi'an!

Dear Family and Friends,

Well, after two days of almost solid rain, it looks like we will have a dry day although it is still cooler than normal. (PTL!) Tonight we will go ahead with the relays and games and tomorrow night with the carnival. Lead teachers are preparing their classes for the final graduation ceremony which will be on Friday afternoon at 2:00 in which each class performs something in English (song, poem, skit, etc.) and we also award the best speaker in each class and a citizenship award in each class. This is always a very emotional time as many students leave to return home after the ceremony. Continue to think of opportunities to share, water, and cultivate.

Folks are hanging on physically--those not feeling well seem to perk up after getting some extra rest (and I recommend lots of hot, steaming green tea!) Since it will not be so damp, that will help also.

Now the first days of camp seem long ago. Thank you for your continued support and thoughts. Thank you for lifting us up. Don't stop!

I will write again on Thursday morning and Friday morning (it is Wed. morning right now at 9:30 am) but that will be my last blog. We will leave for Shanghai Sat. morning and once we arrive at the hotel team members will be able to call and email you.

Love, Becky (for the Xi'an Team)
