Rain, rain, go away!

It has been raining here since Wednesday. It has made getting to the classroom as little more challenging. We are climbing through a fence and walking through some mud several times a day.
Our challenge night went well despite the rain. The cup stacking games was the hit of the night.

Last night many of us enjoyed Tibetan food (noodles, lamb kabobs, roasted bread and a type of lamb stew). It was delicious! After dinner, some went for a body massage. Needless to say it was quite the scene. First it appeared that the Chinese were drawing lots to see who would get Buddy. They soon discovered that Buddy was not going to be the challenge. Once they removed their shoes to begin with their feet the Chinese found it quite funny that Chris had 6 pink toenails(complements of Guiyang team members). They also found it very difficult to help Chris relax because Chris is EXTREEEMELY ticklish. Laughter and squealing could be heard. Kyle was not much better. They are planning to return next week. I think we will go and video.

Jason, Laura and Sarah have a neat class. Today they learned about shopping. Cindy and Anna's class went to the Hot Pot for dinner last night. They had a great time together. All the other classes are going well. There has been several Easter Egg Hunts and job searches.

Tonight we hope to have the Birthday party. It stopped raining around 10:30 a.m. We will know in a few hours if we will have it.

This weekend we will be visiting the area and learning more about this unique part of China.

Continue to remember us and lift us up. Next week will be very demanding.

SHOUT OUT!

Hey mom, Dad, and Jeremy,
Life here is going well. I have had two asthma attacks one on Tues. and one on Thurs. It has concerned my teammates but I am fine. I am a little tired after yesterday's episode. Please remember me. I am not a head teacher. I am working with Mike and Mary Anne. I will be teaching for Mike when he goes to Hong Kong. Anyway, life is going great. The students are great!! Linda and I are working with a group of kids that I have called Class .5. They're English is a little lower than most of the students. It is really fun. Well I have to go. Love you all!
