Well the countdown to Kunming begins. 3 days and counting. Packing, shopping, unpacking,and more packing. The lessons are planned, materials collected, afternoon and evening activities ready. We can’t wait to meet our students and new Chinese friends.

Many of our team will meet at Dulles airport and we will all meet in Beijing. Look for those red shirts and introduce yourself to your team members.

We will have a very long travel day on Thursday and Friday. Most of us leave the US around 1230pm on Thursday (1230 am Friday China time) and arrive Beijing about 14 hours later at 230am US time (230 pm China time). After we all meet we will leave Beijing around 800pm China time (800 am US time) and arrive Kunming 1130 pm Friday China time (1130 am Friday US time). Then we have to get to where we will live. By the time we get settled in we could have been travelling over 24 hours. Remember us during this time.

Remember, I will try to blog daily. But that is dependent upon computer access. Next blog entry should be from Kunming!!!!
