Xining: We are headed Home
Monday
Well friends we have spent our last day here in Beijing going to the Great Wall, eating at a couple of Chinese restaurants, and shopping at the Pearl Market.
So as you can imagine we spent a fair amount of time of a bus today. So after a several fun debates it was decided that there was no clear winners and “War and Peace” would be a debate.
Tuesday
Breakfast came early and it was most excellent! We have sent our second and third people home (Mary and Faith) and we hope they have traveling mercies placed on them by our like minded friends back home.
In a few minutes we will lose Rose, Stephanie, Mable and Doreen to an earlier flight so we need to keep them on our minds as well.
It was an honoring working with them as well as getting to know them.
At twelve o’clock we will leave the hotel and drive to the airport. Get our tickets, make our way through security, wait for our flight, wait for our flight and probably wait for our flight some more. When we do board and take off some will be leaving for the first time and some will be leaving after many trips.
We all are leaving friends behind, some new and some old. There is a small sadness but a greater sense of seeing many again in the future either here in China, America or with our ultimate meeting place. There is Joy in that thought.
Lift us up. Keep us safe. We will be home soon!
Love to everyone!
Buddy
