Day Nine Update at Nan Dai He
Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you again for your many encouraging lifts throughout the day (and night). We are experiencing a very uplifting environment as we share so many truths from the Book. In the last two days, we have seen two young Chinese girls become aware of our King and made personal commitments. We had a wonderful time of sharing and uplifting last evening after the movie. All were greatly moved and encouraged.
There was much rain yesterday throughout the region. As a result, we had to scrub our beach afternoon and make adjustments throughout the afternoon and evening. Also, local Chinese meeting occurred at this hotel last night and took over many of our meeting rooms. Our team made huge adjustments and worked together to make a very memorable evening. Many of the waiter staff (young Chinese students who are here for the summer) are popping up in our English classes and asking lots of great questions. It is remarkable to see how vibrant and resilient our team is to all the last minute changes.
Tonight we will make other adjustments since our barbeque was cancelled for weather. We are going to try three different activities at once. Jenessa and Claire will lead the dance activity; Another movie will be shown and most of the rest of us will have a casual English gathering for discussion, similar to English Corner. Our diversity is becoming more evident every day and is being used for the advancement of His Work. We are adding small groups of special needs youth throughout the day and having lots of sucess in very small groups setting.
We contlinue to need uplifts due to minor ailments…but all is well. We need strength from above. Please continue to lift up the team daily. Although there are many inconveniences, like cold showers and lack of water pressure, our Spirit is soaring through the English Camp and we are strong in Him who made us.
Love to y’all,
Jack and Bess

Shoutouts:
Hey y’all! I hope everyone and everything is going well in SC. I’m sure the heat is in full force. Thank you so much for your lifts. They are greatly appreciated and needed. We have been so happy to see two new students cross over from darkness to Light! PTL. Please continue to submit requests for students’ hearts. We realize there is a battle going on but are thankful to the CEO that we know who has already won. Lift for two students to find a family of like mind when they return home so they may grow. Please also lift for my class as there are some difficult situations and I will be presenting lessons in Truth in next two days. I am so grateful the One who has called is faithful. Much fruit abounding here! We will be leaving for Beijing on Saturday. I can’t wait to see and talk to all of you. I love you bunches.

Hello to family and friends. I am enjoying my stay at our camp in the seaside town of Nan Dai He as we teach conversational English to young Chinese teenagers. They come from many parts of China , especially Beijing (about 250 miles West of us) and even a few from Russia.
Also, I have been taking photos and videos of many activities that we have with the students in the afternoons and evenings, and teaching them how to play American sports, like baseball and basketball. A good variety of things to do— and to build good relationships with the students, keeping us going from 7:30 am to 9 pm each day.
We’re here for another week and then on to a few days of touring in the Eastern part of China, which our teacher’s team is really looking forward to it.
Love, Paul
