It's Hot in Xi'an on Day 8!

Dear Friends and Family,

THIS is how I remember Xi’an—hot and very sunny.  The front that brought cooler weather moved out so we are back to “normal.”  However, we are very thankful for our cool rooms at night—it really allows you to relax and cool off.

In sports today, Bob and Dale chose to do water balloons—very appropriate!  I saw an American and thought she was all sweaty but actually had been hit with a water balloon.

We saw the results of our digital camera hunt today in music class (which is held in the media room). It took several hours to look at every group’s 20 pictures, score them and then choose the funniest 5 to put into the PowerPoint, but the kids really enjoyed seeing themselves—especially the goofy face picture!  A group from class 6 with Robin as the leader won the contest with the most points.  The kids were very excited.

Lindsey has been under the weather today (stomach) but we think she’ll be back with us tomorrow after resting in the room. Please remember her.

It’s hard to believe that we are coming to the final days of camp!  In the midst of a hot sweaty lesson the time seems to move slowly but as we look back over the days they have flown by!

More to come . . .

Thank you for your continued support and lifts.

Love,

Becky
