Hello family and friends,

It’s Friday morning in Nan Dai He at the Wen Hua hotel and we just sent 48 students back to various parts of China on two large buses. Many tears were shed, many hearts were changed forever. Four more names were added to the Book of Life since yesterday.  Thank you all for all the work you have been doing for us on your knees!!!  Please lift up Sally, Tina, Diana and James as they embark on a new life.

We held Closing Ceremonies last night with a lot of fanfare.  Each class had a wonderful skit and many had songs to go along.  The English Speaking parts were great.  We awarded medals to the best English speakers in each class and gave t-shirts to the Most Improved English.  We also gave an award to the Best English Speaker at the Camp.  Sylvia was tremendous!  The teachers were very proud of all the accomplishments that the students have made in the past two weeks.  Some were pleasantly surprised how things worked in spite of the numerous issues that we had to deal with. 

After the classes performed we watched a 30 minute video that Zach, one of the Chinese assistants, put together incorporating the numerous videos and pictures that we have accummulated.  It is a montage of the students and the teachers saying good bye.  Today we met to talk about the impact the Camp has had on our life.  It was refreshing to hear the tremndous unity that has developed on this strong team at Nan Dai He.  You have all done His Work with passion, great zeal and purpose.  We will never forget you!!!

Final Reflections:

Bess sends thanks to all of her fans for the great lifts!  To think some of the students waited two years for us to return was amazing!

And, finally, Jack is very gratelul for all of the “air” support.  Thanks to all of our air lift partners.! Let freedom ring!!!
