About Bridging The World

History and Purpose:

Bridging The World began in 1999 with a global perspective for training and sending individuals around the world as educators and bridge builders.

The development of Bridging The World has led to the establishment of conversational English camps on an annual basis in China. Educators have also been placed in university and grade schools for year long teaching in conversational English. These camps and year long placements have provided opportunities for Americans to travel overseas and be educated themselves in cross cultural anthropology.

Bridging The World is a great tool for acclimating people of different cultures to the differences around the world.  Hundreds of adults, college age young people, and teens have been given the opportunity to broaden their horizons in traveling to China during one of the annual Bridging The World China English Summer Camps.  Americans have seen another way of life and now Chinese are coming through Bridging The World to see the American way of life firsthand.
